Since my last post, we officially accepted and signed immigration documents for child #2 (still unnamed and looking for suggestions). That seems to be moving along as fast as international govermental business can. We are planning on traveling to Korea to pick him up as well as doing some sightseeing. They say 2-5 months to travel, and recently things have been happening between 2.5 and 4 months.
We can also say, praise the Lord!, that we are officially finished with adoption #1! Liam received his official Certificate of Citizenship from the Department of Homeland Security and is now an official citizen of the U.S.A.. Hard to believe that we started that specific process over 1 year ago. So now, over 5 years later, we are complete with his adoption. We legally had adopted him three years ago, but he was still a resident alien as far as governmental purposes. Immigration and naturalization is a strange piece of the government. Hopefully we can be a little more proactive on the paperwork for #2.
