Another Call

Last night at about 10:30ish Cathy woke me up saying, "I think you got a Call tonight." I asked, "How do you know?" She replied, "There are six missed calls from a St. Paul's." Huh. Well, when I checked my cell phone I saw another six missed calls to. Not to disappoint, about 10:45 p.m the phone rang again, and guess what? She was right.

I received a call from St. Paul's Lutheran School in Franklin, Wisc. to serve as principal I guess. I don't know much more than that at this point, but I will keep you updated on what I learn. Franklin isn't real far from B-town, may be a 1/2 hour or 45 minutes depending on traffic. I guess I needed more to think about with only 27 more days of school left (hard to believe!)

The Greatest Day of the Year

Well fans... today is the single greatest day of sports of the entire year. No, it's not the Super Bowl, it's not the opening weekend of the NCAA Tournament (a close second), it's not even a Sunday at Lambeau... today is Sunday at The Masters. It is by far the day I love the best. I sit on the couch and watch 6+ hours of golf. I watch professional golfers experience the toughest course in the world. A great time. Below are a couple videos to help you understand the greatness of the Masters. By the way, Liam has already signed a legal and binding document stating that if or when he ever gets to play in the Masters, I get to caddy for him.

Alladin

Liam was in St. John's performance of Alladin on Friday. The preschool didn't really have a song that fit with the production, but they performed "We're Going to the Zoo." Here is a video of him. The "noise" that sounds like someone has a little gastro-intestinal problem is Owen making noises for your information. Please pardon Cathy's not totally stable recording job.

Soccer

There are a lot of people in Burlington who seem to hate soccer... I'm not sure why I guess, and not us. I guess having lived in Europe made me love the game. Liam has a couple soccer jerseys, one from our trip to the World Cup in 2006 in Germany and one from South Korea that we got him last summer. As usual, he always has to get fully dressed for whatever sport he is playing. We were watching a Champions League game last week and he got all dressed up and wanted to kick the ball around outside so we did. As it turned out he said "Dad, I'm Korea... who are you?" Cathy then made me a member of the German national team I guess so it was, "You're Germany and I'm Korea!"

Big Brother Is Watching

I'm not posting real important things lately, but this is kind of freaky. Google Maps came through southeastern Wisconsin and now has street level shots of my house. If you go to the link and then go to 'street view' you can rotate around and see my house. Looks like Wuf was over, luckily they didn't catch me outside mowing the lawn or something. You can even see my St. John's sign on the corner. Spooky.
