Basketball

If you watch the counter on the right side you can see where people come from who visit my blog. I find it fascinating. I got a string of hits from New York today... I wonder if they were just random traffic or someone stumbling across my blog. I'm always curious who is reading.

Liam dressed Owen up in an old St. John's uniform (green) and then went to get his Wisconsin jersey on so they could play basketball. Here are some pics.

Cold & Flu Season

It has been the cold and flu season here in B-town. First of all, it has become bitterly cold, so cold that yesterday and today we did not have school. Temperatures hovered (with wind chill) somewhere between -20 and -40 degrees. Liam still did manage to get his snow suit on and go outside today. We even had to tell him to put socks on in his boot. He is one little human heater. No school was fine with me because on Wednesday night I came home from school after a meeting and starting barfing all over the place (figure of speech - I made it to the bathroom). After about a half dozen more trips I seemed to be OK after 24 hours. It has taken another 24 hours or so to feel better, but I am. Whew! I probably would have sucked it up enough today to go to school but Thursday would have definitely been my second ever missed day of school. We are going to venture out tonight to a little gathering, we will see how that goes. Stay warm!

First Post of 2009

I haven't really had that much to post yet in 2009. Hopefully I can get outside today and get some pictures of the foot of snow we are getting, but here are two pictures from the past couple weeks.

Owen in the bathtub... he was having a good time pouring water on his head. I had a hard time getting a good pic of him because he was moving so much.

Liam cooking while I did... this is a combination of CheezIts, chocolate, carrots, water, and a couple other things. He then proceeded to pour it down the bathroom sink and clog it.
