Winter?

So the vernal equinox was the other day... I thought that meant the START OF SPRING! I guess not. So this morning I had to get up and shovel snow just to get to the car. At least I didn't put away the snow blower yet.

Liam Singing

Liam will be in Willy Wonka Jr. at school... his class is singing "Think Positive." He was practicing tonight so I took a little video of him.

Thomas the Tank Engine

Liam and now Owen both have liked Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends. Although, Liam did tell me yesterday, "Daddy, I'm done with Thomas." Well, today he drew some very nice pictures of Thomas, Gordon, and Henry. They are actually pretty detailed and I think he drew them for Owen, which is why his name is on them.. Owen calls the TV show, "Gordon?" I guess that is easier to say than Thomas.

Home Improvement

Well... for those of you who have sold a house, if your like me you do more work on your home to sell it than you did when you lived in it. No, it isn't a real bright thing to do, but that is the way things go. Last weekend I finished all of the trim and quarter-round in the house and drywalled and mudded the inside of our bedroom door. Today I hung a new mailbox and house numbers. I know that doesn't sound like much, but in a 75 year old home everything needs to be rigged and adjusted and that takes awhile. Earlier I had changed out the front porch light. I think it turned out pretty well... to bad I won't be around to enjoy it.

Wisconsin Dells

I know, two posts in two days! Holy Cow! While I was at Teacher's Conf. in IL this past Thursday and Friday, Cathy, Liam, and Owen went to the Dells for a day at the Kalahari Waterpark. I guess a good time was had by all, there was even a surprise sighting of MC Hammer (That is NOT a misprint).

Batman

Only one post in February... wow, I'm slacking. I hope my faithful reader base will check back more than intermittently.

Liam drew a nice picture this afternoon. You've guessed it, Batman. What you probably thought was Robin, though, is actually Mighty Mouse. I don't know how they are related, but I guess they have teamed up to fight crime now.

Here is Owen's attempt... I think it is an ariel view of Flash, the Green Lantern, and Wolverine. But that is just my theory. We aren't that big on words yet.
